Bed-Stuy Karaoke at Confessions, the Conan SubwayTakes Bar
Bed-Stuy karaoke, starting at the Confessions lounge of Conan O'Brien's SubwayTakes scene partner, then pool at Sugar Hill.
📍 Marcus Garvey to DeKalb Avenue
🎤 Karaoke at Confessions, Debbie Shields's Bar
Karaoke in Bed-Stuy starts at Confessions, where owner Debbie Shields went viral after her Oct. 20 episode of SubwayTakes, keeping pace with Conan O'Brien. The comedy and karaoke nights she hosts here are where that timing gets its practice. The bar sits at 333 Marcus Garvey Boulevard, opened about two years ago, and takes its name from her line that the more people drink, the more they confess. Doors open at 4:30 PM Tuesday through Saturday, Friday and Saturday run until 2:00 AM, and Mondays stay closed.

🎱 Karaoke and Pool at Sugar Hill After Work
For a second Bed-Stuy karaoke stop, Sugar Hill After Work at 615 DeKalb Avenue is a relaxed neighborhood bar built around karaoke and affordable pool. Regulars treat it as a favorite local hangout, and the room leans divey, far from polished lounge territory. Thursday runs 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM, while Friday and Saturday open at 7:00 PM and also close at 2:00 AM.

🔗 A Two-Bar Bed-Stuy Karaoke Night
A Bed-Stuy karaoke night runs smoothest in this order. Start early at Confessions, where the doors open hours before Sugar Hill, and warm up with a song in Debbie's room. Once Sugar Hill opens at 7:00 PM on Fridays, head over for a second set and a few rounds of pool. Both bars run until 2:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays, which leaves room for an encore at either end.
