Sparks Behind Horseshoe
BattleBots Arena runs daily Destruct-A-Thon shows behind Horseshoe, plus live tournament filming when the schedule allows. Drivers narrate their own matches inside the protective BattleBox, which turns metal wreckage into a lesson on engineering and problem solving. Side-view seats hold their sightlines, and a snack bar handles the inevitable reset. Toddlers two and under ride free on a lap.
Anatomy, Up Close
REAL BODIES uses polymer preservation to show muscle, bone, and organ systems in detail sharp enough to look alive. The galleries move past biology into how cultures treat the body, and a participatory lock wall lets visitors add something of their own. Entry is open to every age, though the realism lands as intense for some visitors, so give younger kids a way out.
Color Inside the Mall
Fantasy Lab sits inside Fashion Show and unfolds across seven themed light installations built around Mexican culture. Alebrije creatures, mirrored skull rooms, and saturated color give phones plenty to do while tired feet recover. The onsite kitchen skips the expected tacos and burritos for something closer to home cooking, and entry tickets double as a food, drink, or gift shop voucher.
