Basement Jazz Sessions With Daily Sets And Late Jams

Listen closely at Smalls Jazz Club, where an intimate room puts the performance at the center of your night.

Make time to listen.

🎷 A Room For Listening

Smalls Jazz Club takes your night below Greenwich Village street level. At 183 West 10th Street, this intimate basement hosts daily live sets and late night jams in a close up setting. Give the players your attention and let the music set the pace. Cocktails accompany the performances, though listening remains the center of the evening.

Hours run Monday through Thursday from 7 PM to half past three AM, and Friday through Sunday from 2 PM to half past three AM.

The club also has a life beyond the room. Live streaming began in 2007, and an extensive audio and video archive sits alongside its work with the SmallsLIVE Foundation, supporting jazz artists and education. For listeners, the club stretches from the immediacy of a seat in the basement to a much wider collection of recorded playing, connecting a night in the Village with performances preserved beyond it.
