Description

Three intersecting diagonal paths carve this former infirmary site into distinct functional pockets across a single city block. In the children's area, ADA-accessible terrain is designed for inventive, non-linear play without traditional equipment. Nearby, an enclosed seating area sits wrapped in native landscaping, its weathering walls and linear benches embedded with salvaged architectural terracotta preserved from the original building. Permeable paver pathways run throughout, engineered to capture and store stormwater directly on site.
