Ballet Classes With Annual Showcases in West Seattle
Take dance classes for exercise or follow a technical track toward teaching and choreography.
🩰 A Neighborhood Practice
A neighborhood routine can involve a little choreography. At Dance West Seattle, ballet, jazz, and contemporary share a school that has been active in West Seattle for more than two decades. Dancers of all ages train here, with annual stage showcases taking the work beyond the studio.
The program accommodates recreational movement and serious technical tracks, including preparation for professional dance, teaching, and choreography. Instructors are CPR and first aid certified and train directly with the school director before each fall and spring session. That preparation focuses on safety and student progression, while classes maintain a disciplined structure across all levels.
The studio sits at 9131 California Avenue SW, with registration available through an online form. Opening hours run Monday through Thursday from half past three PM to half past eight PM, Friday from half past three PM to 7 PM, and Saturday from half past eight AM to noon.
