🎭 Seven Performances, Nov 6–15

🩰 Four Works in One Evening

Four ballets share one evening at McCaw Hall. La Sonnambula is the oldest, a masked ball that ends with a sleepwalker carrying a lifeless poet away, and PNB returns to it after almost 20 years. Alejandro Cerrudo supplies the moody Silent Ghost and the wittier PACOPEPEPLUTO, three solos for male dancers whose skin-toned costumes read as bare, worth knowing before you bring children. Kyle Davis, a PNB principal, built his world premiere The Raven on Poe and on Dreyschock's Morceau de concert. La Sonnambula runs 37 minutes, Silent Ghost 22 and PACOPEPEPLUTO eight, while The Raven's length is unpublished. The bill runs two hours and six minutes with two 20-minute intermissions.

🗓️ Seven Shows, Six With Lobby Stages

Seven performances run Nov 6 to 15: Nov 6 at 7:30 PM, Nov 7 at 2:00 and 7:30 PM, Nov 13 at 7:30 PM, Nov 14 at 2:00 and 7:30 PM, and Nov 15 at 1:00 PM. Two dozen New Voices II students perform on six 4-by-4-foot stages around the lobby, but only during the two 20-minute intermissions, and not at the Nov 15 matinee. The dancers change location between the two intermissions, so each intermission shows different performances. Friday Nov 13 is Triskaidekaphobia Night, when Poe or goth dress is encouraged and birds stay home.
