Coffee takes a moodier turn at Bluestone Lane Manhattan West, tucked into the lobby of The Eugene at 435 W 31st St. Brass tones, exposed concrete floors, and geometric wallpaper give the space its industrial character. Low lighting sets a dim backdrop for brunch, with the architecture credited to Carlton Architecture. An Australian designer supplied the cushions, adding a softer counterpoint to the industrial setting.
The menu moves between avocado smash and a bacon and egg croissant, with a matcha latte served with almond milk. An Aussie latte brings ice cream into the cup, a sweeter detour for your morning coffee. Menu choices can be customized, leaving room to shape an order around the breakfast you have in mind.
The cafe opens Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from half past seven AM to 4 PM.
