Atlanta Date Night From Pub Music to Late Dancing
A night out pairs an easy pub start with a large theatre or concert setting, then Haitian plates and upstairs DJ energy. The middle venue varies by program, while the final venue closes Mondays and offers valet parking.
Pub, Theatre and Club
Piedmont Avenue First Stop
Smith's Olde Bar opens into an intimate entertainment room with a dedicated live music setup, rows of televisions, darts, and multiple billiards tables. The bar's happy hour includes sliders and quesadillas, with kitchen consistency noted as variable. Pairs can settle in for American pub fare and a live performance, then keep the evening moving through Friday's 3:00 AM close. Saturday service starts at 12:00 PM for an earlier visit.
Galleria Parkway Production Hall
Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre brings Broadway productions, classical performances, and touring concerts to a 2,750-seat theatre. The Atlanta Opera and Atlanta Ballet anchor the classical calendar, while foreign-language opera uses effective supertitles. Concert setups can add laser and video displays. Ticket sales run through Ticketmaster. An optional 21+ Skyline Lounge experience costs 55 dollars. The 10,000-square-foot Kessel D. Ballroom sits alongside the theatre.
Dinner to Dance
Rock Steady puts Haitian plates and cocktails downstairs, with art-filled walls carrying into an upstairs club area. Live DJ sets bring R&B into the late-night portion of the visit. Monday is the weekly closure. Tuesday through Friday service runs from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM, Saturday starts at 4:00 PM, and Sunday closes at midnight. Valet parking is available for the Marietta Street arrival, a practical note for this final stop.
