Description

Constructed in the late 1930s as a Works Progress Administration project, this open-air amphitheater sits along the San Antonio River Walk within the La Villita historic district. The layout places the stage on one riverbank directly across from stone-terraced seating on the opposite bank, leaving the water between performers and audience.
