This live staging of the Tony-winning musical follows bodega owner Usnavi and his neighbors through three hot July days in Washington Heights, as they chase the American Dream and hold on to 'Paciencia y Fe.' Directed by David Mendizábal with choreography by Mayte Natalio, the production blends Latin rhythms, hip-hop, and traditional Broadway sounds. It's a vibrant, multigenerational portrait of a community navigating a changing neighborhood, with enough energy to light up the George Washington Bridge. The English-language performance includes ASL interpretation on Thu Nov 5 at 7:30pm.
