This sheltered outdoor rink is the only one in a national park. Borrow skates for free and enjoy DJ sets by the riverfront.
Description

Operating within Anacostia Park under the National Park Service in partnership with Friends of Anacostia Park, this sheltered outdoor roller rink stands as the city's only outdoor skating spot and the sole one inside a national park. Skaters glide across a large covered rink accompanied by music from local DJs, while public park rangers manage free roller skate loans offered in exchange for an ID. The shaded facility features seating and a snack bar, alongside nearby access to the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail.
