Amir Dialameh started the five-acre public garden in 1971 following a devastating brush fire. Maintained by volunteers, the secluded grounds offer a green waystation along the Griffith Park trail network, shaded by towering eucalyptus and pepper trees and planted with vibrant flowers and exotic greenery.
