Description

Opened in December 2018 by Oakland native Chef Rico Rivera, the kitchen pairs relaxed neighborhood warmth with deliberate scratch cooking. Dinner leans into dishes like tartare, grilled New York strip, and roasted kabocha squash, while daytime service brings out staples like beignets, quiche, and shrimp and grits. A full bar helmed by knowledgeable bartenders turns out house creations alongside well-executed classics like the Martinez, keeping the space grounded and lively.
