This tiny Lower East Side triangle is one of the city's oldest parks, preserved as public land since the 1820s.
Description
The park's history as a public space began on August 2, 1824, when the Common Council voted to acquire this plot bounded by Grand, Scammel, and Harman (now East Broadway) Streets.
