A Victorian Antiques Bar With NYC's Longest Counter

Sip within a former Prohibition headquarters, where historical curiosities meet an Alice in Wonderland twist.

See Oscar Wilde's 26 clocks.

🕰️ The One Fifty Room

Oscar Wilde occupies a 1909 building that once served as the Prohibition Enforcement Headquarters, and the bar wears that history openly. An 1840s French fireplace and Hope Castle panelling set the scene in a room packed with historical curiosities, while 26 antique clocks fixed at one fifty mark the hour of Wilde's death.

An Alice in Wonderland theme runs across nearly every inch of the room, and New York's longest counter anchors a list of unique cocktails, with absinthe and champagne in the mix. Afternoon tea, happy hour, and weekend brunch widen the options before dark, and private events are on offer for groups that want the room for a celebration.

On West 27th Street, doors open at 2 PM Monday through Friday and at 11 AM on Saturday and Sunday. Closing time is 1 AM Monday through Wednesday and on Sunday, stretching to 2 AM Thursday through Saturday for the late crowd.
