Game On: Dallas’ Three Iconic Sports Venues
Dallas-Fort Worth packs major-league sports into a few landmark buildings. This tour visits the Cowboys' stadium, the downtown arena the Mavericks and Stars share, and the Rangers' modern ballpark, three very different rooms built for very big nights.
Home of the Dallas Cowboys since 2009, this enclosed, air-conditioned stadium seats around 80,000 under a retractable roof and hosts 2026 World Cup matches. A statue of coach Tom Landry stands on the plaza, and tours run on non-event days.
Downtown's Victory Park anchor is the shared home of the NBA Mavericks and NHL Stars, along with major concerts. Outside stands a statue of Stars legend Mike Modano, the top American-born scorer in NHL history, marking the plaza.
The Texas Rangers' retractable-roof ballpark opened in 2020 and hosted that year's World Series inside the closed dome. The Rangers won their first title here in 2023. It anchors Arlington's entertainment district, with year-round guided tours.
