🥃 Whisky Flights And Plates

Scotch Lodge occupies a subterranean space at 215 SE 9th Ave, number 102, in Southeast Portland. A staircase leads down to the bar, where around 800 whisky labels anchor the drinks selection. Cocktails sit alongside the whisky collection, giving the menu several formats for an evening below street level.

The spirits menu includes one ounce half pours and a tour of Scotland flight. Smaller measures and the Scottish flight offer distinct ways to explore the collection. The flight gives the tasting a geographic focus, while individual pours keep attention on particular labels.

The kitchen serves modern Pacific Northwest small plates and neo bistro dishes crafted by Tim Artale, a St. Jack veteran. Family style plates accompany the drinks in a setting with vintage ambiance. Opening hours run Wednesday through Sunday from 4 PM to midnight, with Monday and Tuesday closed.
