A Southeast Portland Bar Where Pool Gives Way to Live Music

Order a cocktail, rack the pool balls, then drift to the back room when a band takes over the night.

Plan a pool-and-bands night out.

Front Room Pool, Back Room Bands 🎱

The front of this easygoing Southeast Portland bar runs on the classics. Booths line the walls, pool tables anchor the middle, and the bartenders pour cocktails while a pub-food menu keeps the table busy. Non-drinkers get the same easy welcome, and the room stays mixed and unhurried on a weeknight.

Then there is the back, where a small music room behind the bar turns an ordinary night into something you did not plan for, hosting an eclectic run of events from benefit shows for the Oregon Food Bank to DJ sets with Twin Peaks glowing on the screen. Doors open at 2:30 in the afternoon and the room stays lit past midnight, seven days a week. It is a 21-and-over room, easygoing by design, with cocktails up front and a stage that does the talking after dark.
