A Smaller Staten Island Playground With Gentle Ramps

Slide and splash at a tucked away spot built around younger children.

Plan a play break.

🛝 Play at a Smaller Scale

Little legs get their own slice of Staten Island at E.M.T. Christopher J. Prescott Playground. This smaller spot at 195 Edith Ave is tucked away, with the quieter character that can make a playground outing feel a little less hectic. The play structures were built with younger children in mind.

There are slides and low exits, with gentle ramps and soft play surfaces shaping the play area. Take time for a circuit of the equipment at the pace your children choose, whether they want another turn or a pause before moving on.

Hot days add cooling sprinklers to the mix. Pack a change of clothes for anyone planning to splash, then let the outing follow the weather and the children. The park opens daily from 6 AM to 9 PM, with room for an early start or a later play break.
