🥃 Scotch, Craft Beer, Fair Prices

The Gibson opened in 2008 at 108 Bedford Ave and remains a roomy Brooklyn whiskey bar with a deep pour list. The selection spans scotch, whiskies, craft beers, and cocktails, and the prices stay remarkably fair.

There is no house kitchen, and nobody seems to mind. Bring outside takeout, have delivery sent straight to the bar, or catch one of the occasional outdoor pop-ups, with Ecuadorian food among them. Bartenders keep things low-key and attentive, and the spacious layout fits a quiet chat as easily as a larger group.

Hours are generous. It opens at 3 PM on weekdays, 1 PM on Saturday, and noon on Sunday, and every night ends at 4 AM, which makes this late night bar on Bedford Ave a dependable last stop. The door is strictly 21 and over, and bringing ID keeps the night moving.
