A Rock Documentary Premieres With Its Subjects Present

The Boston Film Festival premieres a Hollywood Vampires documentary at Boch Center Wang Theatre with a cast question round.

🎬 A Friday on Tremont

🧛 What Gets Screened

Unleashed Spirits traces the Hollywood Vampires, the band Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, Johnny Depp, and Tommy Henriksen built around a drinking club name from the seventies. The Boston Film Festival programmes the world premiere as its opening night. Daniel Catullo directed. Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, and Tommy Henriksen stay for a question round after the credits, which is the part a home screening cannot give you. An opening night after party follows the film.

🏛️ Inside the Wang

The Boch Center Wang Theatre holds thousands under a gilded ceiling with chandeliers over the lobby staircase. You show a ticket on Tremont Street and take an assigned seat. Ushers work the aisles before the lights drop. A film screening in a room built for orchestras changes how the sound sits, and the low end carries further than in a cinema. The lobby stays open through the evening for the after party crowd.

🎟️ Tickets, Timing, and Fit

The evening starts at 7 on Friday, September 18, at 270 Tremont Street in the Theater District. Regular tickets run at the low end of a concert price and VIP admission costs several times that. Check what the VIP tier includes before you choose. The after party runs from the same building rather than moving venues, which keeps the night in one place. It fits anyone who follows the band or the festival. If you wanted a live concert, this is not that.
