A Robot Named Aura Greets You Inside The Orb
The world's largest LED sphere runs immersive films and concert residencies, greeting arrivals with a humanoid robot named Aura.

Sphere opened in September 2023 just east of the Las Vegas Strip, a 366-foot globe that reads as the largest spherical building on earth. Its outer shell, the Exosphere, wraps roughly 580,000 square feet of programmable LEDs, cycling between giant eyeballs, planets, and show art that travelers slow down to watch from blocks away.
Step into the atrium before a show and a humanoid robot named Aura rolls over to answer questions, read your mood, and pose for photos under a ceiling of glowing rings. The space works as a warm-up act for the auditorium beyond.
Inside, a 16K screen curves around and over the seats across about 160,000 square feet, paired with a beamforming system of some 167,000 speakers plus wind, scent, and haptic seats. Programming runs from the Darren Aronofsky film Postcard from Earth to concert residencies built for the wraparound canvas.
