A Ninth-Floor Rooftop Retreat Above Houston's Medical Center
Seven seating areas spread across a ninth-floor pool deck at the Hilton Houston Medical Center, each with skyline views.
🌆 Nine floors up
Bar9 is a poolside rooftop lounge on the ninth floor of the Hilton Houston Medical Center, where a swimming pool, misting fans, and fire pits share one open-air deck. The Houston skyline sits past the railing, and the space breaks into seven distinct seating areas of couches and low tables.
The bar pours local craft beer, wine, and cocktails alongside a menu of small plates, and couches cluster around the fire pits at the deck's open edge, where regulars settle in as the sun drops behind the towers. Misting fans keep the seating workable through a Texas summer, and weekend evenings fill first.
The lounge draws hotel guests and neighborhood regulars in equal measure, and a dine-in line item can appear on the final tab, worth a glance before you head out.
