A Morning Paddle Into Jupiter's Back Water, Two Islands Deep
Sawfish Bay Park is two and a half acres where the Loxahatchee River meets the Jupiter Inlet. Push off from it and the water goes quiet within a few strokes. The route stays in sheltered back water the whole way, and the guide, by the operator's own description, is a certified Florida Master Naturalist.
The Loxahatchee River reaches the Atlantic at the Jupiter Inlet. The water just south of that junction behaves nothing like it. Lake Worth Creek runs behind a line of mangrove islands there, shallow and shielded from the swell, and both the listing and the operator call that stretch the Lake Worth Creek Aquatic Preserve.
The listing calls the route perfect for beginners. The operator's own FAQ picks the same launch as its best spot for a first time on a board, citing calm shallow water and protected routes out to Fullerton and Sawfish islands. Nobody paddles far. The operator breaks the hundred and five minutes down as instruction on land, instruction on the water, and then the guided loop.

Every start time on this booking is a morning start time. The calendar loads four of them on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, two on Thursdays and Saturdays, and one on Sundays, with the earliest at 8:00 and the latest at 11:00.
Board, paddle, life jacket and whistle come with the booking. So does water, which the operator says is filtered. So do photographs, and the listing asks you to allow three days to receive them.

Both sides publish a species list and both hedge it. The listing says you will be on the lookout for aquatic birds, manatees, dolphins, rays, juvenile sea turtles and fish. The operator's page for this trip puts it as possible sightings of manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, rays and sea stars. Neither one promises an animal.
The route also has a conditional tail. If conditions and time allow, the listing says the group paddles toward the Jupiter sandbar and its clearer water, and the operator describes occasional excursions onto the Loxahatchee River on the same terms. Plan on the loop out to the two islands. Count the sandbar as extra.
Having a guide is what turns a species list into something you can follow. The operator says its guides were born and raised in Palm Beach County, are certified Master Naturalists through the University of Florida's program, and have a background in marine and coastal science.
Who Can Get on a Board

Two age floors are in play here and they do not agree. The booking form sells to ages eight and up, while the operator puts its group eco tour at thirteen and up on a board of your own, with an adult along. The operator also leaves a door open under thirteen for children with prior paddle board experience, and says younger children can ride on an adult's board. An eight-year-old can be booked. Whether that child gets a board of their own is settled at the launch, by the operator, against the thirteen.
Anyone under eighteen needs an adult along, and waivers are signed on site.
Group size arrives as three different numbers. One booking takes up to ten travelers, the platform caps a shared session at eight, and the operator's own group tour page asks for three people minimum. The listing states it will not cancel for insufficient numbers, so a solo reservation stands.
Two lines on the listing are worth reading before you book. It is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, and it asks for at least a moderate level of physical fitness. The same panel ticks a stroller box and a service animal box alongside an age band that starts at eight, which is the unmaintained kind of box. Take the ages from the operator's pages and those two lines at face value.
The Entrance Is Easy to Miss
Both sides point you at the same turn. The listing says to stay in the right lane on Alt A1A and that you will pass a bright yellow building before the entrance. The operator's directions put the turn right before the bridge, just past that building, and add the instruction the listing leaves out: approach slowly, because the entrance is very easy to miss. Inside the parking area you are looking for a large white passenger van. Bathrooms are on site.
The listing and the operator's own tour pages both ask for ten minutes early. Its FAQ asks for fifteen, because waivers get signed before anyone touches a board. Fifteen is the safer number to plan around. If you are running late the operator asks you to call right away, says it cannot hold a tour for late arrivals, and counts a no-show as fifteen minutes past the start without notice.
Wind, Rain, and What to Wear
The operator gives three reasons it may cancel a tour: high winds, thunderstorms with lightning, and heavy continuous rain. On light rain its FAQ is explicit, and the answer is that the group still paddles. The listing carries a bad-weather cancellation clause of its own, and this booking stops being refundable twenty-four hours before the start.
Wear something that can get wet. The operator asks for a hat, polarized sunglasses on a strap, sunscreen and UV clothing, and sells phone pouches for anyone who wants a phone along. You do not have to be a strong swimmer. The operator says swimming helps and that life jackets are provided for non-swimmers, and it counts the instruction, on land and on the water, inside the hundred and five minutes.
One thing the name does not tell you. The listing is sold as a Jupiter and Singer Island tour, and the operator brands its whole service area that way, but the itinerary attached to this booking stays in Jupiter: the preserve, Fullerton, Sawfish, and the sandbar if conditions and time allow. The Singer Island and MacArthur Beach paddles are separate bookings on the operator's own site.
Checked on 3 October 2026, this booking's season runs to the end of the month. The operator takes reservations up to a month ahead, which is roughly where the calendar sits.
What you are buying is a slow hundred and five minutes on water the operator calls calm, shallow and protected, two small islands at the far end of it, and somebody beside you who can name whatever just went under the board.
