🌌 Moving Stars, Then an Early Table

Encounters in the Milky Way fills the Hayden Planetarium dome with the moving paths of stars, comets and dust clouds, built on Gaia data for nearly 2 billion stars, and shows our galaxy merging with a smaller one overhead. Pedro Pascal narrates the 24-minute show, screened every 30 minutes from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM through January 18, 2027.

Museum entry does not include it, so pick a showtime at checkout. Entry plus one show is $30 for New York State resident adults, $43 for out-of-state adults and free for members. From November to mid-January it is past sunset when the last show ends, so book an early table at Vin Sur Vingt or Cafe Luxembourg. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
