A Manhattan Playground Pairs Basketball with a Mini Pool
Play across generations beside Abraham Lincoln Houses, with free entry and public restrooms.
🏀 Play Across Generations
Abraham Lincoln Playground brings basketball, outdoor exercise, and multigenerational play together in one Manhattan community park. The courts are part of a broader mix that includes an adult fitness area, giving a family outing more than one way to get moving. There are spray showers, too, and the mini pool has an ADA lift. Keep that accessibility feature in mind when planning around the water with the rest of your group.
The park shares its name with the adjacent Abraham Lincoln Houses, honoring the sixteenth US president. Find it at Fifth Avenue and East 135th Street. Public restrooms are among the facilities, and entry to the public park is free.
The playground opens daily from 7 AM to 6 PM, covering both a morning exercise stop and an afternoon outdoors. Check pool operating dates and swimming hours separately before making a water focused plan.
