A Lower Manhattan Tavern With a Heated Olive-Tree Backyard
Pub nights on Spring Street move outdoors even in winter, under a retractable roof and a few potted olive trees.
🫒 Olive Trees Under a Retractable Roof
Here is a Spring Street tavern that refuses to lose its backyard to the cold. Delta Charlie runs a long main bar flanked by front church pews and leather snugs, then opens onto a heated backyard with olive trees under a retractable roof that keeps the season going. The room is easily big enough for large groups, and the drink list stays down to earth, from pints of Guinness to Aperol and Hugo spritzes, plus a simple beer-and-shot deal. Doors open at 12:00 PM daily and stay open until 4:00 AM Thursday through Saturday.
