Variety Playhouse is a live music venue on Euclid Avenue in Atlanta's Little Five Points, set inside a former Art Deco movie house whose neon marquee still lights the corner at showtime. The room hosts touring indie, rock, folk, and soul acts, along with comedy and tribute nights.
Inside, a sloped main floor and a wraparound balcony face a single proscenium stage framed by deep red curtains, giving the hall the feel of a vintage theater rather than a club. The layout pairs standing room near the stage with fixed balcony seats above, letting the crowd choose its own distance from the band. The bars run along the back and the lobby.
The marquee sits at the center of Little Five Points, walkable from the neighborhood's record stores and bars, drawing a mixed crowd on show nights across the week.
