Bangladeshi chef owner Anis trained under Hemant Mathur, and he brings focused care to traditional Indian cooking in this cozy kitchen on Nostrand Avenue. Start with the samosas, then move on to tandoori shrimp, lamb curry, or a rich lamb korma.
The menu also runs a popular local lunch deal and a generous dinner special for two. Build a midday break around the deal, or bring a date and split the special at night. Biryani and kebabs sit on the menu as well, with Halal and vegetarian friendly options throughout.
