A Helicopter Above Niagara, the Maid of the Mist Below
Five hours on the New York side: a boat into the mist, the Cave of the Winds walkways, and a short flight over the falls.
See Sight Tours fits the New York side of Niagara Falls into one morning: the Prospect Point Observation Tower, a Maid of the Mist sailing, Goat Island, the Cave of the Winds, and a helicopter flight over all three falls. A guide drives a group of seven or fewer between stops in a Mercedes van and handles the tickets. Pickup is at your hotel.

One booking covers the boat, the Cave of the Winds, the observation tower, the helicopter, and hotel pickup in downtown Niagara Falls, New York. Tips and lunch are extra.

The operator's outline starts at the Prospect Point Observation Tower, which stands directly above the Maid of the Mist landing. The boat then sails past the American Falls toward the Horseshoe Falls. Maid of the Mist puts the ride itself at 20 minutes and hands every passenger a poncho before boarding. Goat Island follows, with Luna Island and Terrapin Point on the way.
At the Cave of the Winds you go about 175 feet down into the gorge and out along wooden walkways toward the Hurricane Deck beside Bridal Veil Falls. The listing gives that stop an hour and the boat stop about 45 minutes. Travelers describe the guide buying the tickets, getting them past the lines, and collecting them afterward; inside each attraction they were on their own.
The Helicopter Flies When the Sky Allows

The flight is short. See Sight Tours puts it at eight minutes over the American, Bridal Veil, and Horseshoe Falls. It is also the leg the operator singles out as weather-dependent.
The operator says flights may be suspended in heavy fog, strong winds, rain, or snow, and that a cancelled flight may mean a partial refund or a voucher to fly another day. Reviews from 2021 through 2025 include groups whose flight moved to the end of the tour, moved to the next day, or did not happen. The operator says the tour itself operates in all weather conditions and asks you to dress for it.
Plan on Getting Wet, and on Walking
Both water stops spray you. Maid of the Mist hands out a poncho for the boat. At the Hurricane Deck, travelers describe getting very wet even in a poncho. The state park no longer gives out sandals at the Cave of the Winds and asks visitors to bring footwear they don't mind getting wet. A dry change of clothes for the van ride back is worth packing.
The operator calls the walking moderate. On wheelchairs, the operator's own answer is that this tour is not suitable for wheelchair users, even though the booking listing ticks wheelchair accessible. The listing takes travelers from age four, and it bars children under 40 inches tall from the helicopter.
Pickup, Group Size, and the Season
Pickup runs from hotels in downtown Niagara Falls, New York. Be ready at your pickup point 30 minutes before the 8:00 AM start. The booking listing's pickup menu also shows four hotels on the Ontario side, but the operator's own pickup terms for this tour stop at downtown Niagara Falls, New York, and guests staying outside that area are assigned a nearby pickup point.
The operator runs this tour only while Maid of the Mist is sailing, May through October. As of October 15, 2026, the booking calendar showed October dates through the 29th and 2027 dates from May 20. The Cave of the Winds is closed for maintenance on October 19 and 20, 2026, and those two days were not on sale.
- 🚐 Pickup is at your hotel. The operator confirms the pickup time 24 to 72 hours ahead by email or WhatsApp.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund. The listing also lets the operator cancel a departure with too few travelers.
- Lunch and tips are not included.
The pin marks the Maid of the Mist landing at Prospect Point, below the observation tower where the ticketed stops begin. About five hours after pickup the van brings you back to the hotel, with the falls seen from the tower, the boat, the gorge floor, and the air.
