Evangelia grew up between New Jersey and Greece and writes pop that carries both, with bouzouki lines and Greek phrasing folded into English choruses. Paréa is the Greek word for the group of friends you keep, and the tour takes its name from it. BeGreek presents the run. Songs switch language mid verse rather than between tracks, which is the clearest signal of what she is doing. The band plays it as pop rather than as folk revival.
🏭 Inside the Fillmore
The Fillmore sits in a converted industrial building on East Allen Street with chandeliers hung over an open floor. You show a ticket at the door, pass a bag check, and walk into a room with a wide general admission floor and a balcony above. Bars line both sides. Chandeliers hang low enough to read from the floor, which people notice before the first song. The crowd packs toward the barricade during the opening set and stays there.
