A Fourteen-Course Tea Omakase in a Lower East Side Tatami Room
Tea tasting on the Lower East Side slows to fourteen courses, with rare leaves poured into handmade ceramics on tatami.
🍵 Fourteen Pours on Clinton Street
Clinton Street keeps a quiet ritual going every weekend. Flowing Space Tea House runs a 14-course tea omakase in an intimate tatami room, pacing each pour so the afternoon never feels rushed. The lineup moves through rare Japanese and Chinese teas and layered infusions, and every cup arrives with a short story about where it came from. Handmade ceramics carry the tea, while crackers, nuts, dried fruit, chocolate cake, and a generous bowl of tea chazuke fill the gaps between courses. Doors open at 1:00 PM Friday through Sunday, and the room stays closed Monday through Thursday.
