🏭 The old plow works

King Plow Arts Center is a West Side Atlanta arts complex on West Marietta Street, set inside the brick buildings of a former agricultural plow works. The property now holds artist studios, galleries, theater and rehearsal spaces, and large event halls used for weddings, film shoots, and performances.

Exposed brick, timber ceilings, and original steel machinery remain in place across the halls, giving the interiors the raw texture of the working factory they replaced. One preserved room still displays the old plow-line gears and flywheels beneath the wood-beamed roof. Resident companies and galleries rotate exhibitions and stage runs through the year.

The complex sits in the Westside industrial district near Marietta Street, a short drive from Georgia Tech and downtown, with on-site parking around the brick courtyards.
