A Flatiron Saturday From Brunch to Market
Weekend brunch at ABC Cocina, a cruller on East 19th, then the greenmarket at Union Square Park.
🗺 Three Stops Before Noon
🥑 ABC Cocina, Weekend Brunch
Brunch runs from eleven to three on Saturday and Sunday, the only window when this Latin room works before dark. Family-style appetizers, fresh salsas and a vegan and vegetarian selection, with portions small enough to keep walking afterward. Take the earliest sitting for a quiet room; by one the tables are turning.

🥐 Daily Provisions, the Cruller
A bakery counter out of the Union Square Cafe kitchen a few doors away, known for crullers and breakfast sandwiches. Popular items like the everything croissant sell out early, and indoor seating is limited enough to plan on takeaway. The Lumberjack is made for eating on the spot, standing up.

🌿 Union Square Park, the Market
The plaza carries open lawns, historic monuments and a greenmarket four days a week that draws as many as 60,000 shoppers. Come on a market day for the produce and the noise, or on a quiet morning for the lawns and the monument steps.
