A Denver Irish Pub Built Around Match Days

The Celtic on Market brings Irish pub hospitality to a downtown Denver room shaped around sports viewing. The story runs back to the original Celtic Tavern, then forward to the Market Street move in 2017, and its Welsh and Irish founders arrived in 2000. That history still shows in the welcome at the bar.

Premier League matches play across more than 40 screens, which gives a group sightlines even when the room fills. Food stays pub focused, with corned beef and cabbage, Scotch eggs, and banana bread pudding. The dedicated off track terminals add the unusual extra, with live operators taking horse and greyhound wagers.

Hours run until 2 AM every day, opening at five PM Monday, eleven AM Sunday through Thursday, and ten thirty AM Friday and Saturday. That spread leaves room for a kickoff, a meal, and a second stop.
