A Denver Afternoon of Tacos, Gnocchi and RiNo Street Art

Three hours in RiNo with five tastings, from a fusion taco to ricotta gnocchi, and murals explained on the walks between.

The RiNo food tour starts inside Los Chingones, a taqueria on Larimer Street run by chef Troy Guard, and your guide is the one wearing an orange Delicious Denver Food Tours button. Over three hours the group eats at five local restaurants and walks the River North Art District in between.

Five tastings here are sized as lunch, so skip a big breakfast. The booking option is labeled five tastings, full lunch, and the operator says most guests finish stuffed.

On this listing the tour runs at 1:00 pm. As of November 4, 2026, the booking calendar showed that departure open on nearly every day through February 2027, with November 17, Thanksgiving Day, December 24, 25 and 31 and January 1 closed. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund.

Five Plates, Sized as Lunch

The listing's tasting list is the adobo chicken taco with guajillo ranch and Fuego Takis at Los Chingones, ricotta gnocchi with fresh mozzarella and tomato sugo from Vero inside Denver Central Market, smoked German sausage with sauerkraut and mustard at Bierstadt Lagerhaus, a specialty slice at Redeemer Pizza, and a kouign-amann from an award-winning bakery. The operator's own tour page names the same five dishes.

Other copy on the listing and in the operator's booking system mentions pretzels with beer cheese, ice cream or mochi donuts. Both the listing and the operator say tastings are subject to change, so treat the menu as the current plan.

Three Drinks, Only if You Add Them

Drinks are not part of the ticket. The listing sells three alcoholic drink pairings as an add-on for 35 dollars paid on site, and the operator's FAQ says the guide takes it before the tour starts, by credit card only, with no cash.

Anyone ordering the pairing has to be 21 and carry a valid ID. The operator's tasting list names a margarita, a seasonal cocktail and the slow pour pils at Bierstadt Lagerhaus, which the listing describes as a lager poured over several minutes to build a thick head.

The Walks Between Stops Are the Mural Tour

Between plates the guide talks through the murals that cover RiNo's streets and alleys, and the route passes Sacred Heart Church without going inside. The operator puts the walking at 1 to 1.5 miles spread over three hours, with every tasting indoors and most of them seated. The tour runs rain, snow or shine.

The listing marks the tour as stroller accessible and suitable for all fitness levels, while the operator's FAQ says not every stop is fully wheelchair accessible. The operator asks wheelchair users to get in touch before booking to talk through options.

Who Can Book, and What Costs Extra

Kids are welcome. The listing has one child rate for ages 12 and under, so a baby in a stroller still counts as a ticket here. One person can book, but the listing may cancel a date that draws too few travelers. One booking takes up to 15 travelers.

Gluten-free and dairy-free diets cannot be fully accommodated on this public tour. Vegetarian swaps are available, and the operator also handles pescatarian, no pork, no beef, no poultry, no seafood and no nuts when noted at booking. Gratuity is not included, and the operator gives 15 to 20 percent as the local standard.

📍 Meet inside Los Chingones RiNo at 2463 Larimer Street and plan to arrive 10 minutes early to check in. Free street parking is often available nearby but fills on busy days, and the paid lot at Denver Central Market sits one block away.

The tour finishes with dessert at Denver Central Market, 2669 Larimer Street, two blocks from the start, with local vendors and coffee counters around you.
