🕯️ Aegean Dinner on Mercer Street

Antique Garage puts a Mediterranean meal inside a former repair garage in SoHo, with candlelight taking over from the space where mechanics once worked. At 41 Mercer St, mismatched antiques fill a room draped in chandeliers, giving dinner a backdrop far removed from a working garage.

Chef Utku Cinel established the restaurant in 2003, drawing on his Aegean roots and family recipes for the menu. Tender octopus and fresh ceviche put seafood in the spotlight, while live jazz adds another layer to the busy dining room. Turkish dishes also feature on the menu, and group diners join a space where the design and the social energy are part of the draw.

Doors stay open Monday through Thursday from noon to 11 PM, Friday from noon to midnight, Saturday from 11 AM to midnight, and Sunday from 11 AM to 11 PM.
