A Beverly Hills Food Walk with Tastings Along Rodeo Drive
Spend an afternoon tasting food where films were shot, with access to private rooms along the Beverly Hills route.
Beverly Hills gives up very little to someone walking it cold. The shopfronts on Rodeo Drive are built to be looked at from the sidewalk, and the rooms where people sit down to eat are set back from it.
This walk works that gap. A guide takes a group through four tastings and two adult drinks over three and a half hours, stopping at a supermarket counter for the Hailey Bieber smoothie, at a chocolatier that has been in one family since 1983, and at a taco counter. Lunch and both adult drinks sit inside the ticket price.
Nothing on the route needs a car, and the operator lists every surface on it as wheelchair accessible.

The tasting partners are not locked in ahead of time. The guide works from a standing roster of Beverly Hills kitchens and counters and picks the day's stops from it, which is also why the walk finishes at a different Rodeo Drive address depending on when you go. Travelers going back to 2023 keep naming the same guide, Brian Rodda, who started the company in February 2023 and guides on it himself.

The four tastings run savory to sweet. A charcuterie board comes out at The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills, cured meat and cut cheese with olives and crackers, and it lands early enough to set the pace. Come hungry: the four stops add up to a meal.
andSons is the one people tend to name afterwards. It started in 1983 as the Beverly Hills outpost of Teuscher, the Swiss chocolate house, run by the mother of the two brothers who later took it over and rebuilt the shop under their own name. The bon-bons come out on a tray, a flight at a time.
Tacos are on the route, in the Mexico City style. Kith on Rodeo Drive keeps an ice cream counter inside the shop, and that stop runs about twenty-five minutes. The cereal-infused ice cream there was one traveler's favorite stop of the afternoon.
The Film and Fashion Half

The route threads blocks that Beverly Hills Cop and Pretty Woman put on screen, and the guide fills the walking with what was shot where. The Civic Center where the group gathers is one of them: the city's own visitor guide sends people to 455 N Rexford Drive to follow Axel Foley's footsteps.
Two buildings on the way hold up on their own. The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts is the old Beverly Hills post office, built in 1934 and on the National Register of Historic Places, and the eight WPA murals inside it are one of only two sets left in California's federal buildings. City Hall is William Gage's, from 1932, and the wing Charles Moore wrapped around it opened in 1990.
The finish is a full hour inside a fashion house on Rodeo Drive. Which address that is changes with the day you book, and the hour is yours to spend in the shop.
Who Can Come
A booking needs at least two adults. Children from twelve can join on a youth ticket, and the minimum age for the alcohol is eighteen.
One booking takes up to eight travelers, which caps your own party and says nothing about how many people walk with you. Guides work in English and Spanish.
The operator lists the whole route as wheelchair accessible, surfaces included, and rates it suitable for all fitness levels. Service animals are welcome, a pram or stroller is fine for small children, and public transport runs nearby. It is still an afternoon spent on your feet. Collin M, who took it in June 2024, put it plainly: "There's a fair amount of walking, so wear good walking shoes."
Booking It
Booking closes four hours before the start time, and confirmation comes back instantly. One ticket covers the booking, and a phone screen or a printed copy both work at the meeting point.
Cancelling more than twenty-four hours out returns the full amount. Inside that window nothing comes back. The operator also cancels for bad weather, which puts you back to a refund or another date.
You will be asked for each traveler's name, date of birth and age band, and there is a box for dietary needs. Use it. The tastings are set by the partners, and notice helps.
📍 The group meets at the Beverly Hills Civic Center, 455 Rexford Drive, at the circular bench in the courtyard just south of the main entrance. The Beverly Hills Public Library sits directly across from it.
Driving in, parking is free for the first two hours and two dollars an hour after that.
The walk lets out on Rodeo Drive with the shops still open and an hour already paid for inside one of them.
