A Bayview Playground with a Mini Zipline and Ball Fields

Burn off energy on open grass while Sunday softball brings a neighborhood gathering to the grounds.

Plan a park afternoon.

🛝 Play Beyond the Zipline

Gilman Playground puts a mini zipline into a neighborhood park in Bayview, giving kids a place to spend that surplus energy after a stretch indoors. Caregivers can sit comfortably nearby with an easy view of the children at play. Bring the whole family along for an outdoor afternoon together.

The grounds also have open grass, a basketball court, a clubhouse and a picnic area. Pack a ball for a different sort of play, or bring something to eat and make space in the afternoon for a picnic between all that outdoor activity. Sunday softball games bring a community presence to the diamonds, adding another way to spend part of the weekend outdoors.

Find the park at 903 Gilman Ave in San Francisco. It stays open daily from 6 AM to 10 PM, covering early starts as well as later outings.
