🏫 Four Floors of a Former Schoolhouse

The building opened in 1902 as a school and never really stopped teaching. Today the UHeights Theatre Alliance stages local productions in the old classrooms, while the rest of the four floors holds rotating wellness classes, art sessions and neighborhood meetings. Look for the original wood stairwells and classroom doors still in place on the upper levels — the corridors are the best record of what this place used to be. Check the weekly schedule before you go: programming rotates, and some weeks lean toward performances while others fill with community workshops.
