360-Degree Light and a Live Choir Fill a Fifth Avenue Cathedral
Projections climb the Gothic vaults while a choir sings, turning a familiar Midtown landmark into an evening concert hall.
✨ Light Inside the Nave
Luminiscence turns St. Patrick's Cathedral into a 360-degree canvas, mapping video and light across the Neo-Gothic vaults while live music fills the nave. Jonathan Roumie narrates, and the LUMINISCENCE Choir is conducted by Malcolm J. Merriweather.
The evening runs about 60 minutes, with a 45-minute main show and live pre-show music before the projections begin. Two versions are offered, one with a full orchestra and choir, the other pairing the choir with recorded music.
Tickets are sold online only, late entry is not allowed, and the organizers suggest arriving 35 to 45 minutes early. The accessible entrance is on East 51st Street.
